New from hot stones equipment company Vulsini is Vulsini I, an innovative mobile stone heater in the form of a stylish and portable bag.
Clean, dry basalt stones are placed into one of two compartments in the bag - large or small - which is then closed.
Its power lead is plugged into a standard grounded socket, switched on and - following a pre-heat period - the required temperature set on the digital thermometer.
The stones heat up in around 45-60 minutes until they reach working temperature and - when removed from the bag - are said to hold their heat for the same amount of time as water heated stones.
Apart from the key benefit of making hot stone massage mobile, other advantages of Vulsini I include a minimal set-up time, no requirement for water for heating and the choice of either an AC power supply or an adaptor which plugs into a car lighter socket. The latter is particularly useful for pre-heating stones in transit.
The bag is also around half the size of a small water heater.
Vulsini I is available either on its own or with the inclusion of a 38 piece stone set.
